Royal Zen
Zen is a handcrafted epoxy resin chess set combining white and ivory. Part of the Royal Collection, it offers a light, neutral alternative to the traditional black and white chess set.
The chessboard measures 30.6 × 30.6 cm, with individual squares measuring 3.2 × 3.2 cm. The pieces feature classic, easily recognisable shapes and are proportioned to suit the playing surface. The king measures 6.5 cm in height.
The complete set weighs approximately 2 kg. Both the chessboard and all 32 pieces are made from epoxy resin. The two light tones maintain a visual distinction between the opposing sides while creating a softer contrast than a traditional black and white set.
