How to properly care for a resin chess set?

 

•  Cleaning and scratch protection

Epoxy resin is highly durable, but it may be sensitive to chemicals and abrasive cleaning products. We recommend using gentle cleaners and soft cloths. Minor scratches on the surface can be easily removed with a polishing compound and a microfiber cloth.

 

•  Heat protection

Epoxy resin is not resistant to high temperatures. Avoid placing hot objects directly on the surface of the chess set.

 

•  Sunlight protection

All epoxy resin products should be protected from direct sunlight. Although epoxy resin offers some UV resistance, prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause surface damage, fading, or cracking.

 

•  Regular maintenance

To ensure the longevity of your epoxy resin chess set, regular maintenance is recommended. You may use a special wax or oil designed for epoxy resin. Apply a thin layer and polish with a dry cloth.

 

We strongly advise against smoking near epoxy resin products, as this may cause yellowing.

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
