Every Chess by Jass chess set is carefully inspected and securely packed before dispatch to ensure maximum protection during transport.
Delivery within the Czech Republic
Balíkovna – Pick-up Point
Shipping price: € 2.90
You can select an available Balíkovna pick-up point when completing your order.
Balíkovna – Delivery to an Address
Shipping price: € 4.50
Your parcel will be delivered to the address entered in your order.
PPL – Delivery to an Address
Shipping price: € 6.50
Your parcel will be delivered by PPL to the address entered in your order.
GLS – Delivery to an Address
Shipping price: € 6.50
Your parcel will be delivered by GLS to the address entered in your order.
Delivery to Other European Union Countries
We also deliver orders to other member states of the European Union.
The currently available delivery methods and their prices will be displayed at checkout after you select the destination country. Carrier availability may vary depending on the destination, delivery address, parcel dimensions and weight.
Delivery may be available to the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Processing and Delivery Times
The estimated availability and dispatch time are stated on each product page.
In-stock chess sets are usually prepared and dispatched within 7 days after the order has been confirmed. For orders paid by bank transfer, this period begins when the full payment is credited to our bank account.
Custom-made chess sets usually require approximately 4–6 weeks for production unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Carrier transit time must be added to the stated processing time. Transit time depends on the selected carrier and destination country. International delivery may take longer than delivery within the Czech Republic.
Once your parcel has been handed over to the carrier, you will receive tracking information if tracking is supported by the selected delivery method.
Secure Packaging
Handcrafted chess sets require appropriate protection during transport. Every order is therefore packed with particular attention to stability, surface protection and the secure placement of both the chessboard and the pieces.
For international orders, the packaging is adapted to longer transport routes and repeated handling during delivery.
Payment Methods
The available payment methods will be displayed at checkout according to the selected currency, destination country and delivery method.
Online Card Payment
Payments are processed securely through the Shoptet Pay payment gateway. Common payment cards are accepted. Payment is processed immediately, with no additional fee charged by Chess by Jass.
Apple Pay
A fast and secure payment through Apple Pay. Availability depends on your device, browser and payment card settings.
Google Pay
A fast and secure payment through Google Pay. Availability depends on your device, browser and payment card settings.
Bank Transfer
Payment instructions will be provided after you complete your order. Your order will be processed once the full amount has been credited to our bank account.
When paying from a foreign bank account, please check the selected currency and all payment details carefully.
Cash on delivery is not available.
Order Currency
You can place your order in any currency currently available in our online store. The final price of the products, delivery and any related charges will be displayed at checkout before you submit a binding order.
Any currency conversion or bank charges are subject to the terms of the customer’s bank or card issuer.
Damaged Parcels
We recommend checking the condition of the outer packaging when receiving your parcel.
If the parcel shows signs of damage, please take photographs of the outer packaging, protective materials and contents. Contact us as soon as possible at info@chessbyjass.com and include your order number.
We will review the matter with you and recommend the appropriate next steps.
